Shop doctor comes to Denbighshire

The shop Doctor is coming to Prestatyn to help independent businesses in the High street.

Funded by the Prestatyn Business Growth Partnership, there will be four free surgeries in the series run over two evenings during March with topics covering:

  • Get your finger on the pulse of marketing
  • Inject some great customer service ideas into your business
  • Take the temperature of your advertising and promotion
  • A spoonful of visual merchandising medicine

By attending these surgeries, you will be joining more retailers who are already benefiting from the tips and techniques they have learned.

The dates are 7 and 14 March 2011, commencing at 6pm at the Scala, High Street, Prestatyn.  The surgeries are presented by the “Shop Doctor” Diane Jackson of Main Marketing & PR Ltd, who is the founder of the “Retail Survival Courses”.

Here is what some of them have had to say:

It was an inspiration. I’ve made a few changes in the shop, especially to the lighting levels to make it brighter and more appealing.” Chris Jones, Guitarworx, Denbigh

“It’s motivated me to do so many things. I’ve introduced various initiatives that my customers really like so I’m engendering real customer loyalty.”Jody Jones, Jack & Jill’s Nursery Specialists, Tredegar

We found the course very informative and now we’ve got renewed confidence and optimism.”Corinne Eliot, Deeside Balloon & Cards, Shotton
