At 02.51 this morning (February 8) North Wales Police attended an address in Grange Road in Rhyl where they found a body of a woman.
The scene has been cordoned off and the death is being treated as suspicious.
A senior investigating officer has been appointed to lead the enquiry and the investigation and searches continue.
