Livestock killed in suspected arson attack

Dyfed Powys Police in Pembrokeshire are appealing for witnesses after livestock was killed in a suspected arson attack on a caravan in north Pembrokeshire.

The animals were killed in the fire that also completely destroyed the caravan, which occurred on a small holding in the village of Llangolman, near Maenclochog, sometime between 19:00hrs on Saturday February 6, and 08:55hrs on Sunday February 7.

Detective Sergeant Geoff Asson, said: “Arson is a very serious offence, thankfully nobody was hurt in this incident however a small number of animals were burnt to death.

“If anybody saw anything or anyone acting suspiciously in the area at or around the time of the fire, or has any information about this incident, I would urge them to contact Narberth Police Station or CID in Haverfordwest immediately on tel: 101.”
