Caffi Florence has joined forces with Denbighshire Heritage Service to host afternoon talks on the history of Denbighshire.
The café, based at Loggerheads Country Park, will be the venue for two talks during February and March.
On 28 February, Margaret Barr, heritage assistant at Ruthin Gaol, will give a talk on the gaol and the infamous prisoners, from its founding in 1654 to its closure in 1916.
On 21 March, Denbighshire Curatorial Manager, Peter Alexander, will talk on Nantclwyd Y Dre, Wales’ oldest timber framed town house, a hidden gem of a building in Ruthin. Discover its occupants from 1435 until 1984.
Both talks begin at 1.30pm and are free to attend.
