Bowl over your friends, family or colleagues at Bowlplex on the Treforest Industrial Estate next month (Tuesday 8th march) in aid of some very worthwhile causes.
Residents are being urged to join in the fun-filled event and make a winning “strike” for good causes, thanks to this exciting event organised on behalf of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council has once again joined forces with the national Bowlplex firm to hold a charity bowling evening on March 8.
The event, at Bowlplex on the Treforest Industrial Estate, offers guests the chance to enjoy a night of bowling for just £7.50 for two games (teams of six only). Those who successfully bowl over the competition will score a very special first prize.
People can have a great night out with their family, friends or even work colleagues, while also raising funds for the Mayor’s chosen charities this year – Marie Curie Cancer Care, the Christian Lewis Trust, Pontypridd War Memorial Fund and Rowan Tree Cancer Care (formerly Cancer Support Cynon Valley).
The fun starts at 6pm and there will be prizes for the top three scoring teams of six.
Mayor, Councillor Simon Lloyd, said: “I am so pleased to be able to join forces with Bowlplex to offer an evening of such fun, which will also help my three good causes.
“This is a great chance for families, friends or even work colleagues to get together for the evening and enjoy bowling.”
