The theme of the dinner is ‘Legends’ and the evening will feature some of the greatest names in Welsh football. Special guest star, Rory Bremner, will be entertaining and the compere for the evening is Welsh sports commentator, Jason Mohammed. Jonathan Ford, Chief Executive of the Football Association of Wales said;

“The Football Association of Wales is delighted to work alongside Tenovus as one of our charities. We too look to play an important role in local communities throughout Wales by giving everyone the chance to participate in the game of football and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

In a small way we hope that will help and support Tenovus in the tremendous work they have done and continue to do. The Legends Dinner promises to be a memorable evening at the start of what we hope will be a fantastic weekend.”

Claudia McVie, Chief Executive of Tenovus said; “We are absolutely thrilled to be a chosen charity of the Football Association of Wales. This is a great opportunity for Tenovus to reach more people affected by cancer and offer our services to them. Tenovus aim to reach people in the heart of their communities, where and when they need it most and by working in partnership with the FAW we will be able to raise awareness of cancer through our health checks, education centre and promoting ways to live a healthier lifestyle. We host a dinner every year to celebrate St David’s Day and this year we are delighted to combine this dinner with legends of football and the FAW. The night promises to be legendary!”

Guests can expect fantastic entertainment, food and revelry throughout the evening with star guests. A ‘Nebuchadnezzar’ (15 litre bottle of champagne) signed by the winning European Ryder Cup Team will be auctioned on the night along with many other special gifts.
