At approximately 4pm on Saturday the 19th of February 2011, North Wales Police officers carried out a search warrant at an address in the area of Denbigh, where various items of stolen explosive equipment have been recovered.
A local 52 year old male has been arrested in relation to the theft and is currently in police custody. Initial enquiries would suggest that this appears to be an isolated incident and police can confirm that they are not currently looking for anyone else in connection to this matter at this time.
Inspector Isaacs of the North Wales Police control room would like to reassure the communities of North Wales that the theft of such items is extremely rare.
