It was stolen from a house in Minny Street, Cathays, Cardiff, during a burglary last month.
There was no forced entry but a number of items were stolen including the 18ct gold diamond ring, a black Samsung laptop and plastic child’s money box.
DC Mandy Peck, from Cathays CID, said: “The ring is quite distinctive so may jog peoples’ memory if they have been offered to buy it.
“I would ask anyone who knows who is in possession of these items or has any other information in relation to this burglary to contact Cathays CID on 029 20527 267 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
