From Saturday 5 March until Wednesday 9 March, weather depending, the A5119 Northop Road will be closed at Northop from the traffic lights to the Flint side of St Peters Park junction for resurfacing works, following completion of the scheme to install a puffin crossing.
The diversion for Mold bound traffic will be via the A55 and the old A55, past Northop College, whilst in the opposite direction it will be via the A5119 New Brighton, the A494 to Ewloe and then onto the A55.
Access to businesses will be maintained throughout the period of the works.
Flintshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
