South Wales East National Assembly Member Mohammad Asghar has welcomed news of an £85,000 restoration of the Naval Temple at the Kymin, Monmouth.
The Naval Temple was built in 1800 in honour of the British Royal Navy.
The Shadow Minister for Heritage & Equality said: “This memorial commemorates some of Britain’s greatest admirals.
“It is an important part of our heritage. I am delighted that this refurbishment project will restore the Naval Temple to former glories”.
