Flintshire Youth Conference 2011 – Saturday March 26

Flintshire’s young people are all invited to come and have their say at the County’s Youth Conference 2011.

This year’s Flintshire Youth Conference takes place on Saturday 26 March at the Glanrafon Community Centre in Mold from 11am til 4pm.

The Youth Conference is organised by young people for young people and is a great opportunity for young people to come together and talk about any issues that they want to talk about.

This year’s conference is particularly exciting as it marks the start of a year of partnership working between the Flintshire Youth Forum and the Urdd, which is a movement for the young people of Wales, giving them the chance to live vibrant lives through the medium of Welsh, learning at the same time to respect each other and people around the world. The Urdd welcomes Welsh speakers and Welsh learners. Watch out for some great partnership events over the next year for young people to get involved in.

The conference day itself will include zumba dancing, drumming and beat boxing. A crèche will also be available, and there is free transport for those who need it (if requested in advance).
