Specialist teams are today continuing their search for the missing 72 year old woman from the Mochdre area, and are asking those out in the Dolgarrog area to keep an eye out for anyone matching her description.
North Wales Police are concerned as she has not been seen since 10am Friday morning (Friday 15th April.)
Pat Howell’s vehicle, a blue Vauxhall Vectra Active, 2003 model, was located by Police Officers parked on the B5106 in Dolgarrog. She was last seen walking away from the vehicle carrying a bag and a walking stick.
A search of the area is underway by the Police Helicopter, SADA and the Coastguard.
Mrs Howell is described as a size 12-14, and is thought to have been wearing baggy black trousers, a black long sweater with a high neck, a light/white coloured knee length coat and casual shoes with a one inch heel. She was carrying a brown handbag which she put into a hessian Asda “bag for life”.
Inspector Simon Barrasford, said: “We have specialist teams out searching the location, but would also asking anyone out walking in the area to look out for anyone matching Mrs Howells’ description.
“We would also like any one who saw Mrs Howells car at this location between 10am and 6:45pm on Friday the 15th April 2011 to contact us to assist our investigation.”
