Furry tales are bundles of fun

Children had a spring in their steps when they hopped over to Church Village Library near Pontypridd for an Easter-themed story and crafts session.

Youngsters were all ears when they listened to the stories ‘Hot Cross Bunny’ by M Christina Butler and ‘Don’t Wake the Bear Hare!’ by Steve Smallman. The young library-goers also had a chance to get creative with crayons and make their own colourful Easter bunnies.

Libraries staff ran free arts and crafts activities in a number of libraries across Rhondda Cynon Taf over the Easter break.

Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Cabinet Member for Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Cllr Robert Bevan, said: “A big thanks to our Libraries staff for making sure children were entertained over the holidays with these free, fun-packed sessions.”

Membership of all Rhondda Cynon Taf’s libraries is free and everyone living or working within the county borough is welcome to join. For more information on the Rhondda Cynon Taf Library Service log on to www.rhondda-cynon-taf.gov.uk/libraries
