Following his re-election as Assembly Member for Clwyd West last week, Darren Millar has given his thanks to all those who supported him.
Darren Millar was re-elected as the Assembly Member for Clwyd West on May 5th with a resounding majority of 4,248.
Commenting on the election result, Darren said:
‘I’m absolutely delighted to have been re-elected for a second term. It’s a massive honour and privilege to represent such a beautiful part of Wales.
‘I’d like to say a big thank you to all those who gave me their support and to all those who worked so hard to make my re-election campaign such a success. It’s great to see such an increase in votes from last time.
‘I look forward to continuing to stand up for the interests of the people of Clwyd West over the next five years.’
He added, ‘My immediate priorities will be protecting local health services, supporting regeneration in our towns and ensuring that common sense prevails with regards to Local Development Plan proposals in Conwy and Denbighshire.’
