The Rainbow Flag has been raised across the South Wales Police estate today (Tuesday May 17th) to recognise International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO).
IDAHO aims to encourage people to demand improvements in society to create and sustain a positive quality of life for LGBT communities across the world.
A poster campaign has also been launched in force in support of the day.
Superintendent Liane Bartlett of Communities and Partnerships said: “Here at South Wales Police, our values are to be proud, professional and positive. We can all make a difference and contribute to ensuring that improvements are made to the quality of life of LGBT people within our workplace and communities.”
