An afternoon of sport is on the cards at a special event being staged in Ruthin later this week.
Denbighshire Youth Service, Ruthin Rotary Club, F-Factor, local sports clubs and other organisations have come together to organise a festival of activity at Ysgol Brynhyfryd on Saturday, 9 July between 12pm and 3pm.
The idea of the day is to encourage people to try different sports including volley ball, cricket, rugby, ultimate frisbee, water polo, snorkelling and table tennis.
The event will also promote the ‘Follow the Flame’ Olympic heritage event that will be in Ruthin for the month.
