Shadow Minister for Sport Mohammad Asghar AM has sent his good luck wishes to Swansea City – ahead of their first match in the Premier League.
Speaking ahead of Monday’s trip to Manchester City, Mr Asghar said:
“The historic season ahead is sure to be one to relish for Swansea City and I want to wish all at the club the very best of luck.
“Getting to the Premier League was a momentous achievement and has provided a huge boost – not just to Swansea and its local economy – but to Wales as a whole.
“I’m sure the next year won’t be short of exciting developments, gripping stories and further successes.
“What makes it much more thrilling is that each will be promoting Swansea to a global audience of billions.”
