Anyone missing a sofa?

Denbighshire County Council is offering a £250 reward for information that leads to the prosecution of the fly-tipper who left this sofa and other waste on a lane off the A543 near Bylchau.

Head of Environmental Services Steve Parker, said: “We think somebody might recognise this piece of furniture, it’s very distinctive.

“If we can find out who did it our aim will be to prosecute the offender for flytipping.  We always prosecute if we have sufficient information.”

“Fly-tipping is a blight on our landscape and costs tax payers hundreds of pounds to dispose of correctly – and it is something we in Denbighshire will not tolerate.”

If anyone has information on the perpetrators, please phone 01824 706100 (Welsh line) or 01824 706101 (English line)
