As the summer holidays draw to a close, it’s not just children and young people preparing to go back into the classroom come September.
Enrolment for neighbourhood learning courses across the city is open now, with a range of opportunities available for people who want to broaden their horizons or for learners who want to build on skills or continue with hobbies they have pursued before.
The On Course Neighbourhood Learning guide is packed full of courses for adults covering computer training, languages, arts and crafts and much, much more, suitable for all ages and abilities at a variety of centres throughout the city.
Most classes start the week beginning September 26 and with places are already filling up fast, there’s never been a better time to find a course that will inspire you to learn.
On Course can be downloaded by visiting www.cardiff.gov.uk/learn or from the neighbourhood learning centres around the city. Alternatively, email [email protected] or call 029 2087 2847. Enrolment is easier than ever this year as the enrolment form is included in the centre of the On Course brochure. The form can be completed and returned by post or in person at one of the local neighbourhood learning centres.
Executive Member for Education and Lifelong Learning, Cllr Freda Salway, said: “There’s something to suit all ages and abilities in this year’s On Course guide. Many of the courses are very popular so I urge anyone interested in learning with us this year to enrol now to avoid disappointment.”
