The A469 in Ystrad Mynach will be partially closed over the next 3 weekends to allow surfacing works to be undertaken.
Major highway improvements are underway in the area as part of the new hospital development – Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr.
The first closure will take place this weekend (8th and 9th October) for surfacing works on the southbound carriageway. Southbound traffic shall be diverted onto the northbound carriageway. The northbound shall be diverted onto Caerphilly Road, as per previous closures.
The second closure will take place on the following weekend, 15th and 16th October and is for surfacing works on the northbound carriageway. Southbound lanes will be open for southbound traffic. Northbound traffic shall be diverted onto Caerphilly Road.
The third weekend will be 22nd and 23rd October and will have the same arrangements and diversion as the second weekend closure.
