Commenting on the announcement from the Secretary of State for Wales of the membership and terms of reference of the Silk Commission, Andrew RT Davies AM, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives in the National Assembly, said:
“I welcome the Secretary of State’s announcement, setting in motion a process to make the National Assembly more accountable to the people of Wales.
“Paul Silk and the other members of the Commission bring considerable experience of devolution to their deliberations and the Welsh Conservatives and I look forward to engaging with them.
“I wish them luck in their task ahead and welcome the beginning of a public debate on the future of devolution.”
