Denbighshire is reminding people there is just one month remaining to give their views on what they think the council’s main priorities should be over the next four years from 2012 to 2016. The consultation runs until 9 December.
The Corporate Plan is necessary to enable the council to show how it will continuously improve, and will take into account consultation and engagement with residents, councillors, staff, regulators and other interested parties.
Following the 2012 Council Elections, Councillors will select a number of priorities for the new Corporate Plan, which will then be included in a draft Corporate Plan document. This will be available for comment during the Summer of 2012. Once finalised, it will provide a clear vision about what the council’s priorities are for the period of the plan, and focussed work programmes will be developed to ensure its success in delivering the outcomes associated with those priorities for the communities of Denbighshire.
Consultation leaflets are available and can be completed and handed in to any Denbighshire reception, including one-stop-shops, libraries, and leisure centres. The survey can also be completed online through www.denbighshire.gov.uk/corporateplan and should take no longer than two minutes.
The consultation will close on 9 December, 2011, and feedback will be provided through the media, the council’s website and ‘County Voice’ newsletter. If you have any queries, please contact the Corporate Improvement Team on 01824 712 508, or [email protected]
