Lifeboat rescues an ‘Angel’

RNLIFishguard RNLI’s inshore lifeboat with three volunteer crew was launched on Saturday afternoon after a pet dog called ‘Angel’ became trapped on rocks on the shoreline near Saddle Point, (the location of another rescue earlier in the week).

The small dog was safely plucked from the rocks in tricky conditions with a strong wind blowing and darkness imminent. The uninjured dog was taken to LowerTown quay where a HM Coastguard representative was waiting and kindly drove ‘Angel’ back to its anxious owner on Marine Walk.
