Make the most of a unique chance to nab some bargain fiction at Abergavenny Library’s Big Book Sale on Monday 9th January from 10am to 5p.m.
Monmouthshire Library and Information Service will be selling a large quantity of books from the Reserve Fiction stock currently housed at County Hall in Cwmbran. The impending closure of County Hall has made it necessary to rethink arrangements for satisfying customers’ requests for out of print titles, via closer working practices with other Welsh authorities, enabling the reduction of the fiction to a small finely focussed core collection.
Come and bag a bargain! Enjoy a cup of coffee as you browse and, at 11a.m. there is an opportunity to listen to a programme of readings from our favourite poetry and prose.
