It has been announced that Brecon Fringe Festival will go ahead in 2012. Venue owners have confirmed that they are planning an extensive programme of music and arts including blues, rock, jazz, country, ska, poetry, dance etc in addition to family entertainment.
It is hoped that a new promoter for the Brecon Jazz Festival will come forward as there are several interested parties but producer of the Brecon Fringe Guide, Nigel Evans, is confident that the Fringe attracts enough visitors to continue as a festival in its own right.
Brecon Fringe Festival 2012 takes place 9th – 12th August.
