Rhondda Cynon Taf Mayor, Cllr Sylvia Jones, has a busy time ahead – in fact she is having a Ball…..literally!
The Rhondda Cynon Taf Mayor’s Ball takes place at Rhondda Sports Centre, Ystrad, on Saturday, March 3
There will be top-class entertainment plus a five-course meal. Tickets are priced £30 per person or £270 for a table of 10 people.
An ABBA Tribute Night is being held at the Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd, on Saturday, March 31.
Top UK tribute act Bjorn Belief will be providing the entertainment on the night, belting out all the ABBA favourites.
Finally, on Friday, April 20, Rhondda Cynon Taf Mayor, Cllr Sylvia Jones, will be hosting a Charity Golf Day at Aberdare Golf Club, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs to the top golfers on the day. All three events are being organised by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council.
All proceeds raised at the event will go to the Mayor’s Charities, which this year are Viva Wales; RCT Crossroads; Rhondda Powerhouse Trust, Llwynypia; Mid Rhondda Operatic Society; GTFM Community Radio (Taff Ely); Colstars Youth Theatre (Cynon Valley).
Rhondda Cynon Taf Mayor, Cllr Sylvia Jones, said: “I am thoroughly enjoying my year as First Citizen of Rhondda Cynon Taf, meeting so many lovely people.
“I sincerely hope the public will support these three events, with all money raised going to worthy causes.”
