An unforseen problem will result in essential work to be carried out by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water on the sewers in the Lenten Pool area of Denbigh to rectify a problem which has led to some localised flooding of the highway.
Councillor Sharon Frobisher, Denbighshire’s Cabinet Lead Member for Environment, explained: “It appears that our work on the Denbigh Flood Relief Management Scheme might have had a knock-on effect on the sewer system which comes under the jurisdiction of Welsh Water, who will now be carrying out the necessary work.”
“We know the work will cause some inconvenience to road users as it goes ahead and the Council and Welsh Water apologise for this and thank drivers in advance for their patience.”
