Councillor Meryl Gravell (Carmarthenshire), WLGA Spokesperson for Social Care has welcomed today’s announcement by the Deputy Minister of a Social Services Bill saying:
‘We warmly welcome today’s announcement by the Deputy Minister and see the forthcoming Bill as making an important contribution to the transformation of social services in Wales. We reassert the commitment set out in our recent response to the ten year strategy ‘Sustainable Social Services for Wales – A Framework for Action’ and we look forward to working with partners to deliver sustainable social services for the people of Wales.’
