The New Quay inshore RNLI lifeboat was called out at 9am on Tuesday (31 January) to assist the Police and Coastguard during a search for a missing person in the Aberaeron area.
Conditions were extremely cold as the RNLI lifeboat crew, Ben Billingham, Ceri Knapgate and Tim Harrison, searched the coastline north and south of Aberaeron for over two hours.
No trace was found of the person concerned and the crew were stood down shortly afterwards.
