Two awards from the Big Lottery Fund, ‘Awards for All’ programme which will improve the learning environment and creativity of local children have been welcomed by Clwyd West AM, Darren Millar.
Clwb Plant Rhydgaled has been awarded nearly £5,000 to purchase new play equipment, arts and crafts materials, furniture and IT equipment whilst Ysgol Llandrillo yn Rhos will receive £5,000 to construct a sand play area so children can play, dig and use construction toys.
Commenting on the awards Darren Millar said:
“This is great news for children in my constituency and the funding awarded to Clwb Plant Rhygaled and Ysgol Llandrillo yn Rhos, is well deserved.
“The funding from the Big Lottery Fund will make a significant difference to these organisations and enrich the experience of those children who are able to access the resources which will be purchased.
“My warm congratulations to all those who have worked hard to secure these successful bids.”
