Do you live in the Penygroes area? Gwynedd Council wants to hear your opinions about the future of the land near Trem yr Wyddfa.
Following a meeting in March 2012, Gwynedd Council’s Environmental Service has come up with four options for for developing the land the future of land and there is a chance for local people to express their opinion on them during a public display and an open day.
The four options are:
- Keep it as it is
- Emphasis on nature and wild life
- Balance between nature and leisure activities
- Combination of nature, leisure activities and physical activities
There will be an opportunity to look at the details of the four options at Canolfan Dechnoleg Antur Nantlle, 9-16 July.
Also, an open day will be held in Penygroes Memorial Hall on Thursday, 12 July at 4.30pm, where there will be an opportunity to discuss the different plans and their potential impact on the area with the design team. A presentation and discussion will be held at 6pm.
Councillor Dyfed Edwards, the local member, said: “I would urge the residents of Dyffryn Nantlle to call by to the display and offer their views. This is an exiting opportunity to be a part of the process of planning the future of our area.”
