Rent a DVD – borrow another for free

Do you ever complain that there’s nothing worth watching on TV? One answer is to borrow a good DVD from your local library, and at Gwynedd Libraries there is plenty of choice.

Throughout January, if you rent a DVD for a week from your local library – £1.55 (children DVDs) and £2.60 (other DVDs), then you can borrow another for free.

You can choose from a wide verity of DVDs from Caernarfon, Bangor, Pwllheli, Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Tywyn and Barmouth libraries, or you can order one from any of Gwynedd Council’s other libraries.

Gwynedd libraries have all the latest films, which are available from the date they are released, and this month you can watch two films for the price of one.

You can join your local library for free – all you need to do is bring proof of name and address to the library and you can borrow a DVD there and then. You can also see what’s available online by visiting: www.gwynedd.gov.uk/libraries
