At 10.52am on Saturday 2nd January, a serious road traffic collision occurred on the A467 between Crumlin and Aberbeeg near the Glandwr Industrial Estate.
Two vehicles, a Stagecoach bus and a Rover motor car were involved in the collision.
The female driver of the Rover motor car received fatal injuries, she can now be named as 39 year old Michelle Jenkins from Newbridge.
