Santa’s reindeers and a living nativity are amongst many fun attractions that will bring a festive sparkle to Rhyl Town Centre Christmas Celebrations this year.
On Saturday, 30 November, from 12noon, Santa will be on his sleigh, accompanied by his faithful reindeers, and will be greeting shoppers. There will also be the chance to enjoy a living nativity scene with a donkey, goats, sheep and turkeys. Seasonal music will be provided by Rhyl Silver Band and other entertainment includes costumed characters, stilt walkers, drumming workshops and much more.
Don’t worry if you can’t make that date because Santa and his reindeers make a return visit to the town centre on Saturday, 7 December, and a last minute opportunity for children to post their letters to Santa.
In addition and keeping the families entertained will be Van Buren Outdoor Christmas Spectacular Show, Pete Moser unique street entertainer, Rhyl Silver Band, Victoria Carol Singers and Drumming Workshop.
Guaranteed to add some Christmas cheer will be the synthetic ice rink at the rear of Rhyl Town Hall on the 14 & 15 December, 10.30am – 4.30pm all free of charge and includes free skate hire! The festive flood lighting, sound system, snow machine and the use of two penguin disability scooters will provide plenty of festive sparkle for all.
There’s lots to do for the whole family so come along to Rhyl Town Centre and join in the festive cheer.
The celebrations have been organised by Denbighshire Leisure and supported by Rhyl Town Council, Rhyl City Strategy, Welsh Government, Rhyl Business Group and The White Rose Shopping Centre.
