The volunteer crew were called out for the second time on Saturday at 4:33pm to respond to a 15ft fishing boat taking in water off Caernarfon Bar. The lifeboat crew assisted the RAF rescue helicopter winch the three crew off the fishing boat who were then taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd. The fishing boat sunk so the lifeboat crew were working with the coastguard on recovering the boat.
The volunteer crew were called out again this morning at 3:00am to respond to an incident involving a rowing boat without oars adrift with two men on board at Friars Bay. Both men and boat were recovered and brought back to Beaumaris Lifeboat Station.
