North Wales Police is holding a day long event to help tackle problems with dog fouling on Anglesey later this month.
In response to complaints from the public a dog awareness day has been organised at the Farm and Pet Place, Cefni Industrial Estate on June 26 at 12pm.
Organiser, PC Dafydd Pritchard said that dog fouling was one of the biggest issues people complained about at public meetings.
He said the police had listened to the concerns of the public and were taking action by organising the event to highlight the risks and the laws involved in dog fouling.
During the day and officers will be on hand to give out information and answer questions from the public. There will also be a demonstration by the drugs searching dog from North Wales Police dog section and the dog warden from Anglesey County Council will be in attendance.
