Abergavenny Library welcomes bestselling author and award-winning television producer Louise Berridge on Saturday 22nd October at 7pm to talk about her new novel, “In the Name of the King.”
“In the Name of the King” is the second in the Chevalier series of historical novels following the adventures of André de Roland through the tumultuous history of seventeenth-century France, set against the brutal backdrop of The Thirty Years War. It follows the bestselling debut “Honour and the Sword”, published in April 2010 and has been described as “Bernard Cornwell meets The Three Musketeers”.
Louise will be interviewed by community librarian Vivienne Thomas and will later sign copies of her books.
