Plans for a new library for Abergavenny will be on show next week.
As part of plans to regenerate the town, Monmouthshire County Council are showing the proposals for a library and asking for people to tell them what they think.
The exhibition will be held at the same time as other plans for a detailed scheme from Morrison’s supermarket which will be available for discussion prior to the submission of a planning application.
The plans will be on show on:
Wednesday September 8th, 9.30am – 8pm
St Mary’s Priory Centre, Monk Street, Abergavenny
Thursday September 9th, 9am – 4pm
The Market Hall, Cross Street, Abergavenny
Colin Phillips, Regeneration Officer at Monmouthshire County Council, said:
“The project is a great opportunity to provide an exciting new library facility that Abergavenny can be proud of.
“We’d like people to ask us questions and tell us what they think about the library plans – everyone is welcome.”
