Eleri Jones, Associate Solicitor with Abergele based Howell Jones & Company, has been accepted as a member of the national association ‘Solicitors for the Elderly’ (SFE).
SFE is an association for lawyers who specialise in legal services for older people and their carers. Members of SFE have a extensive experience in this important legal area and are required to have spent a substantial amount of time working for elderly clients. The aim of the association is to improve the knowledge and service provided on legal issues including, tax planning, wills, lasting powers of attorney, long-term social and health care and other retirement issues.
Howell Jones & Company, with offices in Abergele and Llanwrst, provides a variety of specialist legal services. The firm also has a team of lawyers who specialise in legal issues for the elderly.
Congratulating her on her membership, local Assembly Member Darren Millar said: ‘’Eleri is to be congratulated on her membership of this association. There are a large number of elderly constituents in Clwyd West and it is good to know that there are local solicitors with expertise in providing legal services for older people.’
When asked to comment Eleri said: ‘This is a field of law which is constantly evolving as the requirements of the elderly population change. I have been specialising in legal services for the elderly for many years. I am looking forward to continuing my development in this area so I am able to give my clients and colleagues first class legal advice.’
