Two people are currently in police custody following an aggravated burglary at an address in Mochdre during the early hours of yesterday morning (Thursday, 14th January).
Police were called shortly before 3am following a report that two people had been injured following the burglary at an address on Old Conway Road.
One man was arrested near the scene shortly after the incident. The 22-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and assault.
Following a police operation last night, the second man was arrested at an address in Rhos-on-Sea. The 23-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and assault.
The victims, a male and a female, were treated in hospital for laceration wounds, but have since been released.
House to house inquiries have been conducted and the investigation is ongoing.
