Police in Swansea are issuing a warning after a group of youths were seen playing on bales of hay which have been treated with a potentially harmful chemical.
The youngsters were seen in a field off Herbert Thomas Way in Birchgrove at around 7.30pm last night, Monday 21st July.
They disturbed packaging on the hay, which had been treated with chemicals containing Propionic Acid, which can cause skin irritation.
Local officers are making enquiries to trace the group of youths who were seen in the area at the time.
Anyone who displays symptoms of coming in contact with this chemical should seek medical attention.
