All new mid summer murder at Nantclwyd y Dre

Amatuer sleuths and history buffs should sign up for a Victorian murder mystery night with a difference at Nantclwyd y Dre, Ruthin, on Friday 24 June from 7pm – 9.30pm.

Headed by Ruth Moore Williams participants can explore the house and investigate each room for clues as part of this Victorian melodrama.

She explains: “In the few hours of darkness that separate June 21st, Midsummer’s Day, and June 22nd in 1851, a foul and terrible murder is committed in one of Ruthin town’s oldest and finest houses.  In the garden of Nantclwyd y Dre lies the body of Mari Morris, murdered by an unseen hand.”

But help is at hand, budding detectives of the 21st century will be given the opportunity to

  • Come in your best Victorian dress and roam the lovely historic building in your search for clues to this hideous drama,
