Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has praised the efforts of support group volunteers in Kinmel Bay which helps those suffering from fibromyalgia and arthritis.
Fibromyalgia and Arthritis Coastal Support (FACS) is a group of fellow sufferers in North Wales who come together regularly to learn about their condition, chat and provide mutual support.
Darren Millar recently met with support group organiser Terrie Pearson to learn more.
Following the meeting he said:
‘Support groups can make a huge difference to the quality of life for those people who suffer from painful conditions such as fibromyalgia and arthritis.
‘I commend the good work being done by Terrie and the other volunteers in Kinmel Bay and I’m delighted to extend my support to FACS.’
FACS meets on the second Thursday in the month at 7pm at the Community House, 57 Cynlas, Chester Avenue off St Asaph Avenue, Kinmel Bay.
