Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay is drawing constituents’ attention to a funding advice surgery to be held by the Arts Council for Wales at the Savoy Theatre, Monmouth, on Tuesday, March 11th.
The Council has been delivering funding advice surgeries in different areas of Wales for the past 18 months, offering face to face meetings with potential candidates and organisations who may be interested in applying for lottery funding to develop an arts project.
Speaking on Wednesday, Nick said:
“Many artists and art organisations may be unaware of the funding and different types of grants which are available for artistic activities in Wales. For example there are funding streams for music industry development, capital projects, audience development and business market development, in addition to production and developmental grants.
“The Council are targeting Monmouthshire in the hope of increasing the amount of arts investment in the area. I would urge anyone interested to go along to the advice surgery at The Savoy.”
