Local Labour AM Jeff Cuthbert has visited a tree planting workshop in Caerphilly organised by the Groundwork charity.
Tree planting workshops are just one example of a scheme run by Groundwork that is designed to help bring communities together whilst at the same time making a positive contribution to the local environment.
Jeff Cuthbert AM said that ‘Charities such as Groundwork play a vital role in the local community’
‘People should take pride in their green spaces and a good local environment can have a major impact on happiness and generally wellbeing of the whole community’.
‘I applaud Groundwork for their work in the local area and hope that it may continue’.
