Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay has given his wholehearted support to a community led campaign to introduce a 20mph speed limit in Usk.
Speaking on Wednesday, Mr Ramsay said: “I am sure many people will be backing this campaign – the streets of Usk are quite narrow and reducing the speed limit to 20mph will make the town much safer for pedestrians and hopefullly encourage more people to visit this lovely old town.
“The campaign already has the support of local police, the Mayor and Town Council and I am more than happy to add my support.”
