In an interview in the Red Neck Post, Mrs Elma Mary-Lou Fudd III Jr, displayed an uncanny knowledge of geography by telling a local reporter about her holiday in Wales.
Mrs Fudd who claims to be descended from Prince Llywelyn ap Port Talbot said:
“I really enjoyed my time in Wales. It is my favourite part of Angerland and it was great to meet so many people who are my ancestors”
She added:
“I really enjoyed all that short-bread and bought a traditional Welsh kilt for my husband Gaston J Fudd XXXIII Sr and a traditional Welsh love fork hand carved from ivory as a keepsake of my wonderful time in Wales”.
Bruce Downunder from VisitWales told us:
“We are proud that our new website is attracting visitors from all over the world to places we didn’t even know existed”
Ceris Shaw who runs the Americymru website, a site for Americans who think they may be Welsh told us:
“I’m not all surprised. We Americans love Wales. I used to live there.
“I used to live in Cardiff and one night I went down to Dorothy’s in Caroline Streets to get some chips with curry sauce and the next thing I knew I woke up in Oregon”.
