Angle RNLI’s D class inshore lifeboat (ILB) took part in a major search for a missing 5-year-old boy in the Milford Haven area on Sunday (13 June).
The lifeboat, Richard John Talbot Hillier (D-638), launched shortly before 12.30pm to join Coastguard teams from Dale and Broad Haven, police and fire brigade personnel in the operation.
In the hour-long mission, the lifeboat was requested to search an area between Hakin Point and the Mackerel Stage and was joined by the fire brigade rescue boat.
All units were subsequently stood down when the boy was found safe and well ashore.
It was the fifth call-out in 11 days for the Angle ILB.
