Offices
The main council offices in Llangefni, will close from 12pm on Friday 24 December 2010, and will reopen on Tuesday 4 of January 2011.
The Llangefni cash office will close at 11am on Friday 24 December 2010, and will reopen at 9am Tuesday 4 January 2011.
The Holyhead council office will close at 11am on Friday 24 December and reopen on Tuesday 4 January 2011.

Health
If you find that you need heath or mental health support during the Christmas period please use the links below.
If your local health centre or clinic is not open over Christmas you can contact NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 for advice if you are sick or need health support. Do not call 999 unless you have a genuine emergency.
Reading material may also be found on NHS Direct website for information about any ailment and treatment.
The Samaritans offer advice every day, 24/7. This service can help you with any mental or emotional problem. If you are feeling low or need to speak with someone about your problems over this period, or at any other time, please contact 01248 674985 or visit their website.
Waste collection
Please note there will be no change to your usual waste collection day over the Christmas and New Year period. You will shortly be receiving your new collection calendar for 2011 through the post, if you haven’t received one by mid December, please call the Waste Management Section on 01248 752860 or e-mail [email protected].

Schools
The school term ends on Monday 20 December this year and will resume on Tuesday 4 January 2011.
It is possible that some schools run INSET days for teachers on Monday 20 December. Contact your school to find out if lessons will be held for your children on that day.

Leisure
