Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 2.20pm on Thursday January 14th, 2010. The collision took place on the B4251 approximately 150 metres north of Chartist Bridge, Blackwood. The collision involved a pedestrian, a 14 year old local boy, and a VW Transporter van.
The pedestrian received head injuries and was taken to the University of Wales Hospital for treatment.
